All Endowment and Pass-Through Funds and gifts fall into one of these categories:

• “The Flathead Fund”:  This is the endowment fund for the community and will  be the cornerstone of the FCF. It is a unrestricted fund, and it allows the FCF to respond to the community’s most pressing needs, now and in the future. Gifts of any size are accepted at any time.

• Field of Interest Funds:  Gifts are ear-marked for an area of charitable endeavor such as the Arts, Health Care, Education, Social Services, Historic Preservation or the Environment.
We ensure that your gift continually meets needs relevant to your interest.

• Agency Funds:  Gifts benefit certain non-profit organization(s) as specified by the donor. These may be charities in the fields of interest noted above or schools, churches, fire departments or other civic projects.

• Donor-Advised Funds:  This fund may be created without naming a specific charity or cause. The donor, their family, heirs or other designee may advise us annually how they wish us to distribute proceeds.
